Claude for Beginners Part 5

Introduction to Artifacts

If you're new to Claude then you've maybe seen the tab on the app/tool called Artifacts.

When you are creating inside of Claude, if it's an app, website, tool, etc. Artifacts are used to show you the exact thing you are creating without you having to host it or open it elsewhere.

They essentially allow you to interact with your tool and data real time inside of the app within a useable interface.

There are many examples of what you can use Artifacts for, so what I share in this video is just a simple idea of what they can look like as a use case.

Claude for Beginners Part 4

Introduction to Claude Projects.

Projects allow you to give Claude one specific focus that it can work on.

You can provide it documents, pdfs, images and more for it to have context for your focus.

I like using projects on the go when I'm on my phone.

They are very much like ChatGPTs Custom GPTs and provide a very similar use case.

Claude for Beginners part 3.

Skills. What are they?

Simply put, they are a combination of steps/tasks that can be automated within Claude.

You simply define the steps with Claude and have it create the skill for you.

You do have to enable skills to be enabled from within the settings. Once that's enabled you're off to the races.

Personally, I like to create skills that save me time from having to repeat myself.

As an example, I created a skill called Session End which also has this command /session-end that I can run when I am finished with my session.

What it does is create a memory log of what was worked on in the chat. It then saves it for Claude to easily remember for when I come back to pick up where I left off.

This is because Claude always has to re-read every file you are viewing whenever you send a message/prompt. This can waste token usage which is essentially Claude burning $$$.

Skills are a very common tool/process when using Claude, so expect to have many of them once you get the hang of putting them together.

Lastly, skills can be shared as they are just simple text mark down files. So you can find many online that can already help with what you might be trying to do.

Claude AI for beginners part 2.

Building with Claude code and how it has changed the landscape around using tools/software.

I share more about my personal experiences with using Claude Code and what I've been building over the past weeks and months.

I reference Github which if you don't know, is a cloud platform for storing, tracking and sharing code. Essentially, any code you write yourself or create using AI tools, can be uploaded to GitHub to store it there for the public or as private for just you.

I'll make a video on this down the road to explain why it's very useful to use if you explore coding with AI.

Stop playing games.

Enough with the red pill culture.

Its time to elevate above that nonsense and to just be real.

Shatter the illusion and you'll find exactly what you are looking for.

Lastly, do not be afraid to ask for what you want.

2023 has been the year of letting go and enjoying every day as much as I can.

I have probably not felt this calm and free in a very long time.

Granted I have my rough days, which is normal, I've enjoyed spending more time focusing on my own life and doing the activities I want to do most.

Of course this includes spending time with the love of my life Katya, who to this day, is someone so special, i cannot see my life without her.

I guess love is just that powerful.

My focus for the remainder of 2023 is on routine building and spending time exploring more of Malta.

This year alone we tried almost all the michelin star restaurants here on Malta and many more on the guide.

With that being said.

Life is too short to ponder. Just go live and enjoy while you can.
