When your mum designs the year 6 leavers hoodies and needs photo evidence! 😄
This is a little task I enjoy doing every year, and the hoodie excitement is real! From writing their names four times over to get it perfect to the agony of choosing the perfect colour, it is such a fun leaver's tradition - and here is my last year 6 leaver. I can't believe how time has flown 🫠❤️

Running two businesses concurrently is no joke, but sometimes they merge for a few minutes into one creative blob and things like this happen!
I had just completed a large amount of cakery-makery, and decided to have a bit of fun illustrating a menu to send along with the cakes.
Was it necessary? Not really. Was it fun to bake the cakes and draw them too? Oh yes 🥰

I struggle to find time for personal art these days but every year I sign myself up for at least one art entry in our local show just to give myself a bit of creative time with my paints and pencils.
This year's entry was admittedly completed at midnight the day before show!...but it's nice to have something new in my studio 😍
P.s. It didnt win a prize, which is only fair for a very hastily painted picture! 😅

From design to reality 🤩
Gillian from asked me to design a series of outdoor signs for her, to educate visitors to their cake cupboard and snack shed on traditional fell farming, Hardwick sheep and their diversification projects.
This project really tested my typesetting, layout and illustration skills but I am thrilled with how they turned out - don't they look fabulous on those beautiful dry stone walls,!
A special thanks to my proofreaders for catching all the little errors before they were immortalised on aluminum! The finished product was definitely worth it! 🎉

A portrait for a couple whose home is more than just a house - a welcoming sanctuary for all who know and love them. So many memories are stored here - from joy to sorrow and everything in between. I hope this piece captures and commemorates their home and those memories ❤️

Brand new branding for Mhairi - my dear friend - and talented textile and visual artist, maker and creative mentor.

For the logo, I wanted to incorporate a flourish which could be both a path and a thread - both of which are highly symbolic in Mhairi’s artistic practice.

I didn’t even have to ask her to know that the main colour was going to be green, but we spent time finding exactly the right green, as well as the complimentary mustard and lilac colours that will feature in her branding and marketing material.

This has got to be one of my favourites and I’m thrilled with what we created together 😊💚
