🕊️👑 THE CALYPSO KING 👑🕊️
Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada and the entire Caribbean mourn the passing of a true cultural giant—Slinger Francisco, The Mighty Sparrow.

He was more than the Calypso King of the World. He was our storyteller, our historian and the fearless voice of generations. Through his wit, wisdom and unforgettable melodies, Sparrow captured the joy, struggles, humour and spirit of Caribbean people like no one else could.

Although the Birdie has sung his final note, his music will never be silenced. It will continue to echo through our homes, our Carnival celebrations and the hearts of Caribbean people everywhere.

Thank you for the music. Thank you for the memories. Thank you for carrying Calypso—and our culture—to the world.

Rest peacefully, King. Your crown and legacy will remain forever. 👑🇹🇹🕊️

POWER fans, I need y’all to settle this one 👀🔥

Out of all the villains, kingpins & drug connects that came through the POWER universe… WHO WAS THE BEST? 😤💰🔫

Not just the most dangerous — I’m talking best character, biggest impact, most memorable scenes, and who really had Ghost & crew under pressure.

Drop your pick in the comments 👇🏽
And tell me WHY they were #1. 🥶

🇹🇹 64 Years of Freedom. 64 Years of Strength. One Nation. One People.

From the heartbeat of the tassa to the soul of the steelpan, from every culture, creed and community, we rise together beneath the red, white and black.

Our Independence is more than a moment in history—it is the courage of our ancestors, the resilience of our people and the promise we place in the hands of every child. May they inherit a nation that remembers its roots, celebrates its diversity and moves boldly toward a brighter future.

Today, we honour how far we have come and recommit ourselves to the Trinidad and Tobago we know we can become—united, proud and forever free.

Happy 64th Independence Day, Trinidad and Tobago! 🇹🇹

Together we aspire. Together we achieve.
