HIS Printshoppe is a printing shop catering desktop services and other related works.HIS stands for Honor, Income and Service. Bruce Ward, an American soldier and doctor based in Iraq. (my once boyfriend) The prefix His may sound like referring to him, but, primarily it refers to God, who makes all things happen for a purpose. April 28, 2005 was the first day the printer was used
, for personal pictures and photocopy. Due to poverty demand, the printer was utilized in order to earn income. The printer which is an All-in-one series, can photocopy, and print, and scan at the same time and can print pictures right from the camera with a picbridge feature. I didn’t have a computer at that time, so what I did, I only enlarge pictures and sell it. I bring out one sample and stroll the city holding an album where I put the sample, anyone I meet would always notice my album and then I present my product. Joy was the only motivating factor that made me pass through. There was not a day that I run out of customer. It encourages me the more to keep on selling. Customers are new faces I only meet in the malls, or in the street or in restaurants. Then one day I got a phone call from a businessman referred by my brother to ride on the place he is renting, so I tried but which I didn’t stayed long because I earn more when I stroll the city instead of just being in the corner. I was thinking that if I get a computer it would double my sale and I could gain well. So I rented a computer in the café of my church mate Bro. Tony, there I had gained well in my selling. In the morning I deliver and pick up more orders, and in the afternoon I start making lay out in the café. I was hurrying up my work so I can finish 2 or 3 job orders in an hour because I was paying for the rental. It excites me everyday that my focus was only in the lay out and the customers. I didn’t even have time to check my emails. I made it like “a little business”. I made advertisements using the name “Christene’s Printshoppe” even though that time it doesn’t even exist as a little business, its just a fantasy where I like to dwell like having a little business. It was an act of faith that I impulsively mentioned the “Christene’s Printshoppe” to a customer who asks the name of the business and where it is located. It just came out of my mouth, which I didn’t realize it will indeed bring to reality. Time came that the computer I used in the café was pulled out and some troubles along the way keep on hindering my work. For few days I didn’t have a computer, I returned back some job orders to my customers. It went on many days that I didn’t have a computer and I felt so sad during that time, I didn’t have income for about 15 days, and didn’t have new job orders. It was a friend, Junjun who was my first thought to help me find a computer, he promised to assemble a computer at the lowest price I can afford at only 10,000. I was praying and praying that my father would understand my plight and help me find money when I get home. I didn’t even have time to check my email, but at that day some force was just convincing me to just log on to the chatline and I will find my comfort there. I met Ms. May Ann online, and instead of helping me pray, she voluntarily gave. Which I only ask her to pray. She bought the highest quality computer at the cheapest price which is 18,000. In July 6, 2005 the Christene’s Printshoppe was changed to HIS Printshoppe, referring to God who makes all things happen for a purpose. (drafted on july13, 2005)
