In April 2024, history was made in more ways than one. Nelly Korda, at just 25, clinched her fifth consecutive LPGA championship, equaling the all-time record—a staggering achievement that might just be the prelude to her setting a new one.

Simultaneously, a personal dream of ours came to life. Voke’s debut sports intro “Trailblazers” aired during the LPGA championship on the Golf Channel for NBC marking our first venture into broadcast television. We began this project a little over 6 months ago, pitched a ton of ideas, and after a lot of refining are thrilled to finally share it. An excerpt from our pitch:

“In the world of sports, where every stroke, every putt, and every victory writes history, women golfers of the LPGA are the ultimate trailblazers, illuminating the path of greatness with their grace, resilience, and extraordinary skill. They are more than athletes; they are torchbearers of empowerment, shining brightly in a domain once overshadowed by gender barriers. With each tournament, with each fearless drive down the fairway, these pioneering women cast a radiant glow of inspiration, trailblazing not just within the greens of golf courses, but in the hearts and minds of every aspiring player who watches them. As they traverse the globe, leaving a trail of light in their wake, they do more than play a game – they ignite a movement.”

Excited to share the best moments from a 20 minute piece we created for the release of the new Mean Girls movie.

Our challenge was to make something engaging for the audience attending an exclusive screening of the new film hosted by Instagram. Typically the pre-roll segments before a film are eye-roll worthy(looking at you AMC and Nicole Kidman) but we wanted to make something truly fun and entertaining. The aim was to immerse you into the Mean Girls universe - think trailers, behind-the-scenes from both films, a music video with Megan Thee Stallion and Renee Rap, and a ton of memes and UGC content – all stitched cohesively together with beautiful yet instagram-native design and animation.

And as a fun side effect, our team may have started as Mean Girls novices, but now we're walking, talking encyclopedias of all things Plastics.

You never know what’s going to come out of a random Zoom call with an old friend.

Director Blaine Hogan came to us at the beginning of his creative process with a wild idea to make a fun film about pickleball - a sport near and dear to us on the Voke team. His pitch included grandmas doing stunts - we were so in.

We had a blast collaborating closely over the course of a few months to help storyboard, pre-viz, and ultimately bring all the pieces together in post for a wild ride of a pickleball match up.
