Any time I can work on a brand design that involves a dog centered business, I am PUMPED! My clients at Luvabull are on a mission to de-stigmatize the pitbull breed from being perceived as dangerous through education and hands on training experience with the breed to see how lovable they are. They also donate proceeds of their services and sales to rescue projects to save the lives of these sweet dogs!
I had so much fun helping this brand visual come to life with incorporating the signature pitbull face into the logo through negative space. We also completely played on the puns through the sticker creation that catches attention for the awareness of the brand.

And for one last fun fact: the dog in the first image is actually AI generated! đŸ€Ż What?!

Sharing this new restaurant brand just in time for your lunch break! 🍔

Pianta (meaning “plant” in Italian) wanted to combine vintage and modern with an organic, rooted feel in their visual identity. I created an iconic logo mark by using negative space (my favorite!) to create a leaf within a burger illustration. This color palette was inspired to evoke hunger in a less traditional way than your bright primary colors of fast food restaurants, but also reflect the patty, bun, and fillings of their burgers.

P.S. How good is that pun that greets you as you open your burger box to take a bite? đŸ˜…đŸ‘đŸ»

Breaking news: your personal brand visuals should be the perfect combination of who you are AND who you serve/who your ideal client or customer is!

I don’t want to name names, but Taylor Maule easily has to be one of the coolest and most fun brand I’ve designed for! Happy launch day to a woman who owns her funky retro style and shares it so authentically with the world!

I included some of the moodboard images in this post to bring Taylor’s brand to life even more! From the funky daisies and bright colors to the 70s inspired typefaces, this vintage brand combines classic and modern - much like the clothes and accessories in her closet!

I was looking at beauty products the other day and sorry, Olay, but your packaging is ugly. 😝 I decided to flex my creative skills a bit and see what I could create! I love doing rebrand projects like this because of the freedom to use my design skills with no constraints.

What do you think of this new packaging?

Branding isn’t surface level! We so often only see the logos, colors, and typefaces that visually identify a brand to us, but beneath all that we see on the outside, what’s underneath really anchors the brand from floating away.

By hiring a brand designer, you’re not only investing in pixels, but the deep roots that create and form the iceberg of your brand. Strategy is essential for success.

In my flagship brand design service, we dive into deep waters of your passion, personality, and values to build your brand from the bottom to the surface and top them all off with a visual identity that makes perfect sense with what you’re really about.

I’m currently taking new clients in spring 2021! Send me a message if I can answer any questions or if you’re ready to book!

This may be one of the coolest logo marks for a brand I’ve EVER designed in my career thus far!

After working for a variety of spas over the years, Lauren approached me with the need for visual identity to uplevel her personal brand in the massage therapy industry. We agreed right away that having a last name like Swan was something we needed to incorporate into her logo!

I used the body of the swan to resemble a hand and strategically converted the feathers into a stone, both rooting into the practice of massage. This powerful visual is able to connect Lauren as a person and what she specializes in into one brand element unlike any other in her target market!

Lauren wanted an earthy, inviting, and meditative vibe throughout her brand. I chose lightweight typefaces (fun fact: yes, that font really is called John Mayer and he’s one of Lauren’s favorite artists, so that’s some fate!) that embodied a modern and organic feel with some original character. Paired with a color palette that stands out amongst your typical spa expectation, yet makes sense once you connect with Lauren’s brand messaging.

I’m booking projects into 2021 currently! If you connected with how I created this brand, I would love to work with you to create yours!

Are you charging your worth? If you’re facing imposter syndrome, or you just need to get clear on exactly what it is about you and your work that’s valuable and unique, check in with yourself by asking these questions:

đŸ‘‰đŸ» What do my customers get in return for working with or buying from me?
đŸ‘‰đŸ» How does my work improve their lives?
đŸ‘‰đŸ» What specific outcomes can my clients expect as a result of our work together? (Or as a result of using my products?)
đŸ‘‰đŸ» What really drives my clients to work with me or purchase my products?
đŸ‘‰đŸ» What do I do to continually improve myself and my brand?
In what ways is my brand different from similar businesses?

People do business with people they admire, like and trust, which is why it’s so important that your brand is an accurate reflection of you. Your brand is often someone’s first impression, and it can validate or influence their decision to work with you. When you charge what you’re worth, you’re also setting a high standard for the type of people you want to work with. The clients that perceive you as valuable are the same clients who will get the most value out of the work you do. This helps align you with the right audience for your specific offerings — the clients your products and services will truly benefit and those who will thrive through your offerings.

When you understand your value and you’re dedicated to doing your best work for the right people, the sky’s the limit. There are endless opportunities and connections to be made. When you show up as your authentic self, the universe shows up for you!

I spent my weekend polishing up this fun personal brand redesign! Hayley decided to invest in my professional services to appeal to a higher investment market so she was able to charge more for her copywriting work! She now has a beautiful visual brand that reflects her values as a writer and also can showcase a standout logo across all her advertising. I can’t wait to see the success that comes from this launch! When you invest in your brand, the payoff is almost immediate!

I thoroughly enjoyed crafting a negative space logo (my favorite!) and complimenting it with a neutral color palette and typefaces to tie back into the brand personality.

My flagship brand design package includes one marketing collateral design, perfect for bringing your brand to life - physically through a printed item that you can feel proud to distribute!

A look into what the final deliverables of my signature personal brand identity package entails!

Abby left an event agency and decided to create a personal brand in order to serve her ideal wedding and elopement clients. Through a brand strategy session, I was able to learn all of the goals, values, clientele, and aesthetics that built Abby’s brand and create a clear, beautiful result to get her brand out in the world!

By using the 3 brand personality traits (romantic, whimsical, and timeless) as a foundation, I created a dreamy infinity shaped logo that complimented Abby’s initials, while also serving as the icon that will be memorable to her audience for years to come!

A strategic brand identity can transform and elevate your business and presence! Are you ready to stand out with your own?

Do you think about your environmental fingerprint on the world? Over the past few years, I've made a lot of conscious decisions in the food I eat, the brands I buy, and the waste I contribute.

In a pre-Covid world, I would attend in-person networking events and conferences where I would shake hands and exchange contacts with anyone I would connect with by handing them my business card. I used to work at a print shop, so I would frequently lust over foiled finishes on silk cardstock with colored edges and spot gloss...all the things that would make me proud to hand that card to someone. With an impressive card, I was sure that it would be one that was held on to by whomever I gave it to and that I would be in the front of mind whenever a design opportunity came up.

Although I love luxury cards, I realized that they add unnecessary waste to our planet. So, for my rebranded business cards, I chose to go with recycled materials! These cards are made from excess clothing fabric from garments that are created and sold worldwide! Having an eco friendly card aligns with my business values and plants an idea to my personal branding clients on options for their printed marketing collateral!
