Sosivu Originals These African inspired designs speak of the universal qualities of motherhood, of the noble qualities of manhood, and honors the ideals of Kwanzaa.

They have been used to decorate everyday items. So much of our African heritage has been stripped away from us-- our language, our culture, our religion, our family names. Using African symbols in designs, applying them to personal and everyday items, is for me, a way of bringing a touch of Africa back into our daily lives. My designs combine African Adinkra and western symbols to express certain

universal ideas and concepts. They are designs that celebrate holidays and special events in our lives.
