Ahead of the festive and wedding season, designer brand Sabyasachi released a new advertisement featuring its ''Heritage bridal'' collection. However, the brand is at the receiving end of criticism online after some people were not happy with the portrayal of models.

This is not the first time Sabyasachi being criticised for their 'weird' model portrayal.

!! || Supreme Court bans ‘firecrackers’ across India, ahead of Diwali.

Supreme Court on Tuesday said that the ban imposed on the sale and use of firecrackers is not just confined to Delhi-NCR only, but it applies to the whole country.

The observation was made by the Supreme Court while responding to a plea over alarming high pollution levels in Udaipur, falling air quality index (AQI) and lack of regulations to demarcate noise pollution levels.

The Supreme Court, while upholding the ban on firecrackers, asserted that “curbing pollution is not just the court’s duty.”

“When it comes to pollution, there is a wrong perception it is the duty of courts. But it has to be everybody’s duty,” the Supreme Court said.

However, it shall be noted that it is not a ‘blanket’ ban on firecrackers, but on the items containing barium salts. [Observed in 2021]

It is reported that Babar visited the famous Sabyasachi store, where he bought a sherwani for INR 7 lakh. Further details of Babar's wedding are not known to the public, but the 29-year-old will tie the knot in December. Babar also bought some jewelry from a renowned store.

An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 struck western Nepal on Friday night, resulting in the death of at least 128 deaths and over a dozen injuries.

The officials said the toll is expected to rise. As per the report, eyewitnesses reported the collapse of houses in the affected area, while buildings in the northern parts of India, including Delhi-NCR, experienced tremors.

Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal 'Prachanda' headed towards the incident site with a medical team Saturday morning. Both Nepal Army and Nepal Police personnel have been mobilized to carry out rescue works.

|| Taj Mahal wasn't built by Shah Jahan, but it was Raja Man Singh's palace: PIL demands correction in textbooks.

The Delhi High Court directed the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) to decide representation seeking change in the books of history about the construction of the Taj Mahal, claiming there is no historical evidence of the demolition of the palace of Raja Man Singh and fresh construction of Taj Mahal on the same site.

The bench of Justice Satish Chander Sharma and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela directed ASI to decide on a representation made by Surjit Singh Yadav, President Hindu Sena (NGO) while disposing of a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) sought a change in books of history in regards to construction of Taj Mahal.

The petition filed by Mr. Yadav claimed that a palace of Raja Man Singh existed on the land where the Taj Mahal stands today and “the dead body of Mumtaz Mahal was interred in a domed-shaped building within the mansion of Raja Man Singh”.

It further claimed that the mansion of Raja Man Singh already existed and stood on the land and there is no mention of the mansion being demolished to create space for the construction of Taj Mahal.

The plea also claimed that various court chroniclers of King Shah Jahan are silent about the name of the architect of the Taj Mahal. “Strangely, all the court chroniclers of King Shah Jahan have not mentioned the name of the architect of his magnificent mausoleum,” the plea said.
