Growing up as a child of the 70s you can't be without some sadness today with the passing of Newton-John! 😢

I remember going to the movies with my Mom to see Grease when it was released... it became an instant favorite! 😍

Over the years I must have seen it many dozens of times... and several years ago I played it for my kids who were around the same age as I was the first time I saw it with my Mom so many years ago... They were reluctant to watch this older movie, but after starting it and the opening credits they were soon hooked as well asking me to play back certain songs even.

Of course Sandy (Olivia) was one of my first crushes... and there was a girl in school who looked much like the character in the movie who I was head over heals for as well....

This last scene in Grease is one of my favorite pics of Olivia as she flies off with Danny (John), so very cute! 😊

Who likes this animated series❓ :)

Fun Fact... That's also my graduation year from high school 😲

I remember being at a party in early 1990 here in Vegas and the Simpsons was on... it was one of the first times I had seen an episode... I have watched a number of episodes since that time, but it never was one of my favorites, I prefer the Family Guy! 😁

Anyway, this post isn't about what I watch on TV, but about STAYING POWER 💪

The Simpsons is the longest running series on television... no other primetime program in history has stayed on TV this long... that's saying something❗

That's what we could only wish for with our brand or business, no❓

Staying relevant in your industry, rolling with the changes and going with the times are key factors. 🔑

I like vintage, it never goes out of style...

That's what I strive for❗

On this day in 1886, the Statue of Liberty was officially unveiled in New York. 🗽

Although many people who came on boats from other countries to find a better life saw this as a symbol of freedom... we are now seeing a new way of life in this day and age.

All of it is very confusing and can get one in complete overwhelm! 😵

Much like this in the marketing land we are being constantly bombarded with new information, tactics, products and tools that completely get most typical marketers to the point of wanting to pull their hair out, or just quit before they ever get going! 😲

I was in college and remember watching each week and eventually Melrose Place and the show Friends as well... 😍

One common theme between each show was a close knit bond between people (friends) who could relate to each other (good or bad) as they navigated their journeys here on this planet! 🌎
