Team: been away from posting for a while. Why? Work, work, work.
As many of you are aware, Diamond3 earns the majority of our clients thru referral. Thus have never "worked" the social media to attract new business. We did offer discounted services via Fiverr for a short time. This opened our business up to several new market segments in Europe, Asia and South America. Many of these clients have become friends and earned a few more referrals.
I do share photos here on the page... you get to see the end product of most of our deals. Yet, you do not get to see what all goes into building these programs. All the long, sleepless nights, the frustration, the excitement, the let downs, the sick feeling in the pit of the stomach from losing a prospect after months of preparation and hard work... the joy of closing a deal mixed with humility, elation and sense of solemn pride you feel for your clients success.
Sponsorship procurement is a REALLY tough business. Nothing happens over night. It is all based on earned trust and relationships. These relationships take time to develop... even established relationships we share take time to develop with a new property/client... the Sponsor may trust us, but needs to get to a place of comfort working with a new team / driver.
Recently we closed another associate sponsor for our Monster Truck team. We have been buried knuckles deep in co-promoting our first monster truck event.
I have shared these little nuggets of useless knowledge to ask this question... what do you want to learn?
Share your questions and I will do my best to help you get to the answer you deserve.
I am building a new studio in the basement where we will launch an educational and (hopefully) entertaining podcast.
Our guests will be from various industry we have worked in and with. CEO's to Marketing Directors... Country music to Heavy Metal... Grassroots to the Pro's... TV Shows to Social Media influencer's. Looking forward to launching this new venture.
Now... back to Monster Trucks!
