Saturday: What Will Last Forever?
Reading: John 3:16; 1 John 2:15-17
Devotional: From dust you came; to dust you will return. You enter this world with nothing and take nothing with you—except your relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Your bank account won't follow you. Your achievements won't matter. The house you worked so hard for will belong to someone else. This isn't depressing—it's liberating. It frees you to invest in what truly lasts: God's Word hidden in your heart, faith passed to your children, love shown to others, and a life surrendered to Jesus. Today, take inventory. What are you building your life upon? Memories are beautiful, but they're not your foundation. Only God's eternal Word can be that rock. Choose today to build on what lasts forever.

Friday: Beauty That Never Fades
Reading: 1 Peter 1:24-25
Devotional: Flowers wither. Grass dies. Beauty fades. Strength diminishes. Every earthly thing is temporary—except God's Word. As mothers invest hours in appearance and fathers build identity around strength, we all face the reality that these things cannot last. But there's hope: while our outward self is wasting away, God offers something eternal. His Word endures forever. His promises never expire. His truth about who you are—created in His image, deeply loved, eternally valuable—remains constant when everything else changes. Don't build your identity on what fades. Root yourself in the eternal truth of Scripture. What God says about you today will still be true tomorrow and forever.

Devotional: You entered this world with nothing, and you'll leave with nothing—except your relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Your possessions, achievements, and earthly treasures will all remain behind. Only what's built on God's eternal Word will last. This reality should radically reshape how you live today. Instead of chasing temporary success, invest in eternal things: deepening your relationship with Christ, speaking truth into others' lives, and building your character on Scripture's foundation. Stop trying to be the foundation for your family through your own strength—you'll fail because you're human. Instead, point everyone to Jesus, the true foundation. Let today be a defining moment where you commit to living for what endures forever. Build your house on the Rock, and when storms come, you will stand.

Wednesday: The Sin Problem and God's Solution
Reading: John 3:16; Romans 3:23-24
Devotional: The greatest problem you face isn't external storms—it's the internal reality of sin that separates you from God. Sin doesn't just affect you; it impacts everyone around you, bringing destruction, pain, and death. You cannot overcome this on your own, no matter how strong or capable you are. This is why Jesus came—to do what you could never do. He lived the perfect life you couldn't live, died the death you deserved, and rose again to offer you everlasting life. Salvation isn't earned through good deeds or religious performance; it's received through faith in Christ alone. Have you accepted this gift? Do you know beyond doubt that if you died today, you'd spend eternity with Jesus? Don't wait another moment to settle this most important question.

Devotional: Jesus is not merely a teacher of God's Word—He IS the Word made flesh. When everything around you changes, Jesus remains constant. At the cross, it appeared finished, as if darkness had won. But three days later, the resurrection proved that Jesus is the unshakeable foundation, the risen Savior who conquered death itself. This changes everything. Your strength will fade, your circumstances will shift, but Jesus—the Way, the Truth, and the Life—never changes. He offers not temporary relief but eternal salvation. Building your life on Jesus means more than intellectual agreement; it means surrendering control, trusting Him as Lord, and allowing His unchanging truth to become the bedrock of your identity. Have you truly made Jesus your foundation, or are you still trying to be your own?

Devotional: Flowers are beautiful but brief; seeds, however, grow into something lasting. Every time you speak God's truth to your children, grandchildren, or those you influence, you plant seeds that will outlive you. You may not see immediate results—gardening requires patience as seeds weather storms and slowly grow before producing fruit. Your prayers water these seeds; your faithful example provides sunlight. The Word you plant today may not bloom until years later, but Scripture promises it will not return void. Don't grow discouraged if you don't see immediate transformation. Keep planting, keep praying, keep pointing others to Jesus. Your faithful sowing creates a legacy that extends into eternity, far beyond what any earthly achievement could accomplish.

Are you anchoring yourself to temporary things—career success, physical appearance, or past accomplishments? Or are you rooted in the unchanging truth of God's Word? The choice of foundation determines whether you'll stand or fall when life's inevitable storms arrive.

Saturday: Grafted Into God's Family
Reading: Romans 11:11-24
Devotional: As Gentiles, we were wild olive shoots—outside God's covenant people, without hope. But through Christ, we've been grafted into the rich root of God's promises to Israel. We didn't earn this position; God chose us and adopted us. Just as adopted children receive the full inheritance and love of their parents, you receive the full benefits of being God's child. There's no second-class citizenship in God's kingdom. You have complete access to the Father through Jesus. Your past doesn't define you; your adoption does. Like the pastor's adopted sisters who were loved as blood daughters, God doesn't remember which of His children came to Him by different paths—you're all His, completely and eternally.

Friday: Caring for the Least of These
Reading: Matthew 25:31-46
Devotional: Jesus makes it unmistakably clear: how we treat "the least of these" is how we treat Him. The hungry, thirsty, stranger, naked, sick, and imprisoned aren't just statistics or someone else's problem—they're Jesus in disguise. Orphans, widows, foster children, and the defenseless fall squarely into this category. Being adopted into God's family isn't just about receiving blessings; it's about extending those blessings to others who desperately need them. Religion that God accepts as pure involves looking after orphans and widows in their distress. Today, ask God to open your eyes to "the least of these" in your community. Then ask Him what specific action He's calling you to take.

Devotional: Jesus makes it unmistakably clear: how we treat "the least of these" is how we treat Him. This isn't symbolic language—it's literal reality. When you feed the hungry, you're feeding Jesus. When you ignore the needy, you're ignoring Jesus. On judgment day, your eternal destination won't be determined by your theology but by whether your faith produced compassion in action. The righteous didn't even realize they were serving Jesus; they simply lived out their faith naturally. That's the key—when Christ truly transforms you, serving others becomes your instinct, not your obligation. Look around today. Who needs clothes, food, companionship, or hope? Don't wait for a convenient time or perfect circumstances. Serve them now, and you serve Jesus Himself.

Tuesday: Adopted into God's Family
Reading: Romans 11:11-24
Devotional: You are a wild olive shoot grafted into God's cultivated tree. You didn't earn this position; you were chosen and adopted. Just as adopted children receive full rights and inheritance, you have complete access to every blessing God offers His children. Your past doesn't disqualify you. Your family dysfunction doesn't exclude you. Your mistakes don't eliminate you. God looked at you before the foundation of the world and said, "That one is mine." Being adopted means your identity is no longer defined by where you came from, but by whose you are. Today, reject the lies that you're not good enough or too broken. You are a chosen child of the King, predestined for adoption through Jesus Christ.
