Deceptive marketing isn't just bad practice, in many cases it's illegal. Yet most consumers have no idea what the line looks like or when it's been crossed.
That's exactly what I'm addressing at a free community class next Friday at the Ocean Shores Library. We'll look at real examples of misleading product photography, AI-generated content, and marketing tactics that blur the line between persuasion and misrepresentation and walk through how to recognize them.
Twenty years in compliance-focused marketing means I've spent my career knowing where that line is. Friday I'm going to start sharing that with the public.
