Aaron Vasquez The long road to the top...

The content game has changed.

Viral agencies as we know them, are headed towards extinction.

It’s not enough to offer “go viral” services anymore.

The market is catching up and demanding measurables beyond “views”.

Before you go crying, yes I know there are some legit viral agencies.

Just my insights

Most people learn these the hard way.⁣
We did too.⁣

Selfish content is the most expensive mistake in social media.⁣
It feels like marketing from the inside.⁣
It reads like noise from the outside.⁣
Your team. Your awards. Your process. Your launch.⁣
None of it built for the person scrolling past.⁣
All of it built for the business making it.⁣
The audience who needed what you offer⁣
scrolled past before you got to the point.⁣

Treating leads like an afterthought wastes everything the content built.⁣
Someone watched.⁣
Someone reached out.⁣
Got a response two days later.⁣
Generic. Slow. Written for nobody specific.⁣
The content earned the attention.⁣
The follow up threw it away.⁣
A lead from social media has a short shelf life.⁣
Miss the window and they’re gone.⁣

Inconsistency doesn’t just slow growth. It reverses it.⁣
Every gap teaches the algorithm your account is unreliable.⁣
Every stretch of silence trains your audience to stop expecting you.⁣
The platform rewards patterns.⁣
Not moments.⁣
An inconsistent account never builds one.⁣
The fix for all three is the same thing.⁣
Discipline.⁣
The same discipline that runs every other part of your business.⁣
Content built for the customer.⁣
Leads treated like the opportunity they are.⁣
A consistent presence the algorithm can learn from.⁣

None of it is complicated.⁣
All of it requires showing up the same way⁣
you show up for everything else that matters.

You’re using the same content framework your competitor downloaded.
Canva templates.
Agency playbooks.
Industry best practices.

Everyone in your niche has access to the same tools and the same advice. When everyone follows the same playbook, everyone sounds the same.

Same-sounding content gets ignored at the same rate.

2. You’re leading with your industry instead of your perspective.
Generic industry content : tips, facts, services, boring.
It has no voice. No edge.
No reason to come from you specifically.
The content that stands out is the content that could only come from one specific person with one specific point of view.

3. You haven’t found the thing only you can say.
Every business owner has seen something their industry gets wrong.
Has a take that contradicts the common advice, a story that nobody else has.
That’s the content that builds a following.

Find that and stop competing with the template everyone else is using.

It’s Never been a better time to be yourself

If you wouldn’t stop for it, nobody else will.
We created over 1,000 videos last year and learned a few things along the way.

This is the simplest content audit anyone can run.
Pull up your last ten posts as a stranger would see them. Just a cold scroll.
Ask honestly whether any of it earns a pause.
The answer is usually uncomfortable.

You know what stops your scroll.
Use that information.
Business owners are also consumers.
They know what pulls them in and what feels authentic versus performed.
They know what earns their time and what gets skipped. That instinct is the most underused asset in their content strategy.

Create for a human.
The audience doesn’t care about your brand standards. They care about their own lives.
Content that enters their world earns attention.
If your content is selfish, promo driven slop, people and the algorithm will judge it.

Bet your family’s future on a content strategy with a 99.999% failure rate?

Of course you wouldn’t.
That would be insane.

Yet, business owners are doing just that every day.
Chasing “viral”.

Your business is built on high success, repeatable processes, why would your content strategy be any different?

These influencers got into the social media marketing game before it was trendy. They got in and made a name for themselves before it was "cool".

Are you putting your customers, patients, members, clients, first?

Are you putting your customers, patients, members, clients, first?

Why do I start businesses? After five decades, the answer is still the same today as it was the day I started my first company: to make a positive difference to people's lives. I believe all businesses need to have this desire in their DNA in order to ultimately be successful.

Great read from one of the Sharks. I can't count the times I've been told by a prospect "I don't want to sell or we focus only on referrals". Not selling or relying solely on referrals is a slow death.

Most people don’t realize how important selling is—unless your paycheck depends on it! Every time I mention selling, I always hear, “It’s not for me”,
