When do you set your goals?
New Year?
There’s a pressure to set goals and resolutions at New Year (although astrologically and naturally it falls around March time) by then, I’d argue it’s a bit late.
You’re starting on the back foot.
Why not think about 2022 now?
I’m a summer baby so perhaps it feels natural for me to do this now but it’s also a really good time.
There’s still 5 months until the start of 2022 so, you can plan and get things in place to achieve your 2022 goals, in good time.
Need help?
Think about these following questions, mull on them, take your time. The answers may come quickly and clearly or they may take a while.
•How much money do you want to be earning, per month, by this time next year.?
• How much time do you want to be working?
• How many hours a day and how many days a week do you want to work?
• What does your workplace look like this time next year?
• How much time off do you want next year?
There’s lots more questions to ask, depending on the type of business you run and stage you’re at but keep the above questions in mind to check that your business and personal goals align. As a small business or entrepreneur, it’s more realistic to align the two in order to create an environment for success.
So, blank piece of paper time, go nuts, write down ideas, see how you feel about them and repeat until satisfied.
Good luck!
