When you say Yes to scary things it give you the opportunity to grow!

Take me for instance, I don’t like public speaking, making videos, going Live, hell I don’t even really care for taking selfies! 😱 I know shocking I should love them right 😂😂😂

My point is, I say Yes to these things that scare me cuz I know it’s a good opportunity and I’m not going to say No just cuz I’m scared of it. Even when my scared might be a little different cuz I deal with anxiety so my fear turns into a whole new animal sometimes. 🦈🐊🐅

So don’t let the F word stop you, who knows who you can inspire, help and empower by saying Yes! 😘

No but really, I watch a lot of people on video that don’t smile and it can come across as bored, not excited, just blah sometimes.

Sooo if you’re talking about something that you want others to be excited about make sure to smile!

What is an opt in? And why do you need one?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

An opt in is when you sign up for a newsletter, a freebie, etc. Ya know, where you give your name and email and get something sent to your inbox.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Why do you need one?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Social media is great but you want to have another way to reach those that are interested in what you’re doing.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You want to have a list of those people saved so you can email them with updates, new products, events, etc.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is going to come in handy when unforeseen circumstances hit. Say for instance your IG account gets shut down 😬⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

And the best way to get someone’s email is to have them opt in to your list and receive something for free!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It’s an anxious time right now. Something many of us have never seen before. It’s ok to feel how you do. Embrace it but don’t let it stop you from living.

Create a daily schedule for yourself. Keep a routine. Work on things you didn’t have the time for when the world was in a better place.

Come out of this better than you came in.

How To: Save your post as a draft to use at a later time.
⠀
1. Click the + button like you would you create a post.
2. Add your picture, filters and text.
3. Hit the back button < two times.
4. Click Save as Draft.
5. When you’re ready to post go to the + again and you will see a Drafts section above your recent pics.
6. Click on that image and post as usual.

There ya go! Now you can create a whole library of posts to use at a later time. Click the save icon below this pic in the bottom right to refer back on how to do this 😊

These are the top 5 apps I use on my phone! I also love Canva, but it’s easier to use on my desktop 😊

1. Word Swag - for text on photos
2. Mojo - IG story templates
3. Caption Writer - add spaces to your captions
4. Adobe Lightroom - lighten your photos or use presets
5. Video Saver Pro - download IG, FB, YouTube, etc. videos to your phone

Organizing your to do lists is a great way to get rid of that overwhelming feeling of having a million and ten things to do!

I get stressed out when I have a ton of things I need to do flying around in my head and this is how I relieve that...
⠀
1. Write out everything you need to do for Work.
2. Write out everything you need to do at Home (this includes personal things like doctor appts and hair cuts and of course the laundry 🙄).
3. Every day write down the top things that MUST get done that day. I like to write them out in order of importance.
4. Then below that write out what would be nice if it got done.
5. Anything left over from your Must to do’s will go on the list for the next day.

Here’s another post you’re going to want to SAVE (click the icon in the bottom right beneath this photo)

Here’s how to get spaces in your captions on Instagram without having to use periods or any other strategy...
⠀
• Download the app Caption Writer (white background with hot pink hashtag symbol “ #”)
• Open the app and go to the + sign in the top right
• Write out your caption with spaces, however you like
• Scroll to the bottom and hit Copy With Spaces
• Next click Open In Instagram (your caption will still be copied if you just close out of the app and go to Instagram manually)
• Next proceed as you normally would when posting a pic (you can also take your copied caption to Planoly or another scheduling app and it will work there as well)
• When you go to write your caption, hold down your finger in the caption box to Paste
• Post and done!

(There are other apps for this, Caption Writer is just the one I use as it’s very simple which I like)

The other benefit to using this app is all of your captions are now saved in one spot if you ever want to use them again, tweak them for something a little different, transfer them to a blog, etc.

Do you write out the same message often or copy and paste your hashtags from your notes? Here’s a trick to be done with all of that!
⠀
Go to👉🏻
•Settings
•General
•Keyboard
•Text Replacement
•Click the + sign in the top right
•Copy and paste your message or hashtags in the Phrase box
•Enter your Shortcut (I use Jhash1, Jhash2, etc.)

Swipe left for pics on how to do this if you’re more of a visual learner like me 😎

And there ya go! This is for an iPhone, but I’m sure it’s similar for other phones. If not, just Google text replacement for whatever phone you have and you will find instructions 😊
