Today, on the Spring Equinox and International Happiness Day, it feels like a quiet turning point (no surprise they’ve landed together). 🌸🌱✨

Joy isn’t something we chase, it’s something we grow…
The blossom is OUT.
The first of the tulips are showing their faces.
Everything is gently, beginning again. 🌱

Even my amaryllis is on her second bloom behind me - she just can’t help herself. 🌸

Behind the scenes are THG it’s dungarees, dirt under the nails and ideas finally taking root. What once felt like scattered seeds are (slowly) coming together. 🙏🏻

It’s messy. It’s chaotic.
But this is where the magic lives right!?

Glimmers start early girls… ✨🥰
IWD makes me think of little Hols: dressed up (already loving shoes ha), a wild imagination and learning that creation and care are powerful things. 🌱✨

She was practising something.
Independence.
Creativity.
Taking up space.
Tending to her own patch.

Somewhere along the way, many of us quieten that girl. We become sensible. Responsible. Successful. Busy. We shape ourselves around expectations.

And then one day, we feel the pull back.

The girls we were are still here.
The women we are becoming are shaped by everything before. 💗

This International Women’s Day, maybe it isn’t about becoming “more”. Maybe it’s about honouring those “glimmers” within us. That spark of creativity and possibility we all carry. ✨
