Over the past year, North Carolina has experienced an increasing number of severe and extreme weather events. These unforeseen disasters have had a significant impact on our local creative communities.

In response to these natural disasters, the North Carolina Arts Foundation has transformed the NC Arts Disaster Relief Fund into the NC Arts Catastrophe Relief Fund. This rebranding reflects the Foundation’s expanded mission: to support creative organizations and businesses during times of extreme need, not just in the aftermath of natural disasters.

💰 $25 Billion of NC's Economy
📈 3.18% of the state's GDP
👥 167,253 NC Jobs

⭐️ "In North Carolina, the arts and culture sector represents a larger share of the state economy than the transportation or utilities industries."
