s with tens of thousands of engaged festival goers. NewCo’s platform fosters trust, storytelling, and true connection between the people driving a new kind of global capitalism. Launched in 2012 in San Francisco, NewCo’s festival products encourage participants to “Get out to get in.” Festivals have the focus of a business conference, the feel of a music festival, and the model of an artist open studio. The brainchild six-time media and tech entrepreneur John Battelle, NewCo takes participants out of stodgy ballrooms and directly into the businesses changing the face of the modern working city. Through intimate, founder-led sessions, a NewCo festival creates lasting engagement and deep connections. In late 2015, NewCo will launch a media platform focused on the people, companies, and stories behind the NewCo movement.
