🎉 We have exciting news to share with our animation and motion design community.

The Collision Awards is merging with The Telly Awards, bringing our mission to celebrate exceptional animation and motion design to a larger global stage.

Founded in 1979, The Telly Awards is the world's largest honor for video and television across all screens. Through this merger, animation and motion design will now be featured front and center alongside groundbreaking work from television pioneers, immersive producers, branded content creators, and innovators across every medium.

What This Means for the Animation Community:

✨ Global platform and expanded reach

Smoke becomes the medium and the message in Nomint’s “Up in Smoke,” created with WWF for COP28. Using real smoke and over 700 3D-printed sculptures, the film brings the climate crisis into sharp focus, set to Billie Eilish’s “When the Party’s Over.”

Shot entirely in-camera, the piece captures the human and environmental cost of fossil fuel emissions through haunting stop-motion. A year in the making, it transforms data into emotion.

This powerful piece won a Collision Gold Award last season in Marketing & Communications - General - Non Profit. 🌍🎬

Set in a futuristic Nigeria, the story follows Tola as she navigates a world of innovation and inequality, uncovering secrets that challenge everything she knows. The series blends sci-fi with African culture in a visually stunning, emotionally resonant journey.
