Generating a section via AI has gotten so good in Shopify 🙌🏾

We helped a merchant create a page to promote their new membership subscription. The theme they're using is great, but it did not have a section that could support their vision - so we generated one!

Obviously there are still limitations here, but this has come such a long way since it was rolled out!

How do you turn a website error into a seamless shopping experience? 🛠️

We just wrapped up a UX Audit and implementation for a merchant that focused heavily on keeping the customer journey smooth. We found that customers hit 404 pages often, but we didn't want that to be the end of their session.

We redesigned the 404 page to act as a funnel by allowing users to easily backtrack and view products that would be of interest to them.

Here’s the re-engagement strategy we implemented:

1️⃣ Added a clear option to head back to the previous page.

2️⃣ Displayed popular plants based on the user's specific growing zone.

3️⃣ Showed a history of other plants they’ve recently browsed.

Now, all roads lead to product discovery!

Some of best tools for your store do two things at once.

Take the shipping threshold bar, for example. On the surface, it’s just a bit of UI. But in reality, it’s solving the #1 reason for abandoned carts: shipping costs.

We love this addition because it’s rooted in transparency. You can be upfront about costs while giving your customers a gentle nudge to explore more of your catalog. It’s not about "tricking" anyone into spending more; it’s about providing a clear path to a better deal.

B2B features for non-Plus? This is a very big deal!

All plans that have an online storefront now can include up to 3 active B2B catalogs, company profiles, payment terms, volume pricing, ACH payments (for US only), AND vaulted credit cards.

We know that everyone is excited about Agentic Commerce right now, but there are tons of other exciting updates within Shopify.

For example - if you are not using Sidekick and Shopify Flow together you are missing out!

Not only can Sidekick create a flow ( 🙏🏽) but it can run through custom line attributes to tell you where a piece of data is being stored by an app. Then, with your permission, it can use that information to update the flow that it created.

Sidekick + Flow is a MAJOR time saver.
