The biggest downfall of capabale, talented people building online:
themselves.
Because capable, talented people are used to performing with high standards.
And doing new things (like building your own business online) feels vulnerable and, well, scary.
You can envision it all: the beautiful website, offering enormous value to your clients with time and financial freedom.
The only problem is, that's some future "step X", and there is no "one size fits all" formula to get you there. (Sorry, gurus, if it was that easy there wouldn't be so many of you.)
I know all of this because it's been my journey: I was a great W-2 employee, got laid off, decided to "build my own thing" and got lost in the wilderness of online entrepreneurship for a long time.
TBH: I'm still in the wilderness, but I've embraced it. It's sometimes still confusing, but I've developed skills to help navigate. Because it's also beautiful, and the freedom is glorious.
If you're lost in the wilderness of building your own thing online, follow and drop a comment or send me a DM with the latest struggle.
Something is coming that just might help you find your way.
