Congratulations to the senior winter sports athletes!!

The end of an era is something no one wants to see. When something that came together so easily and has been together for many years comes to a close it brings a bittersweet sadness. I have witnessed these seniors for many years now play football together. It’s always been a great thing to be a witness of. I have captured many memories for these boys. To be completely honest they all kind of made me feel a small part of their family and bond! These boys have been kind gentlemen to me. They have been the most humble set of boys you will ever meet. As much of a unit as they are, they are built like a different kind of football beast. For the last 4 years they have been a part of a Jets Movement like no other. They got to practice with some of the greats that this school has ever seen. Just to name a few…Haggy, Leonard, Lookabaugh, Albright, Crum, Houseman, Gilliam, Chadwell, Harris, Pelfrey, and many many more greats (I apologize if I have missed a few) have had the privilege to practice with and that made them even better players. The players from their Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years helped build these boys into even better players. The bond these guys have is like no other and one that I am honestly sad to see leave the field. In my eyes these boys are all legends that I wish to see on the TV next year in college playing. Sadly I know many of them are not going to play college ball which makes this last game even harder to acknowledge. I truly hope and pray that they don’t hang their heads after this. They made school records, pushed the boundaries of their skills and gave hope to this school district. They also taught the younger generations behind them what football wins and glory feels like. Showed them how hard work and dedication pays off. These guys showed them Jets traditions and how to be humble and kind. To the seniors - Thank you for allowing me to be a very small part of your journey. You guys have been phenomenal athletes and people. Senior Parents - this has been a fun ride all these years. I have loved giving you all memories of your athletes. Your love and feedback on the photos kept me taking the photos as well as your athletes' excitement of the photos. You truly don't realize how much it means to me to see my photos shared. Its the HIGHEST compliment that I can receive. Thank you all

We are nearing the end of Senior week! Today the shout out goes to the ball handlers...the guys who receive the ball like no other and know to protect the ball at all costs! Our senior group has many options this year on who to go to that will make plays happen. Lough, Mefford, Moone, Jones, Newman, Houseman and Taylor have put up some great numbers this year on catching, running and keeping the ball in their hands to score the TD! These playmakers are always fun to watch because you never know what will happen. They never give up! They keep the opposing teams defense on their toes because you never know who will get the ball next and what play action will happen! These guys are having a stellar season!
