The biggest mistake I still see advertisers make is treating ad creation as a one-off creative task. At scale, ads are not creatives—they are systems.
Ad fatigue is real. Face saturation is real. And after Meta’s recent shifts (including how uniqueness is evaluated), minor tweaks no longer work. You don’t win by changing captions or swapping the first 3 seconds. You win by building a repeatable ad-production engine.
Here is the core framework I strongly agree with and have seen work repeatedly at scale:
• Every ad is just Hook → Body → CTA
• Bodies and CTAs are easy to systemize (credibility, product, objection handling, outcomes, urgency, etc.)
• The real bottleneck is hooks
Instead of recording new ads every week, you can:
• Record 10 bodies × 10 CTAs once
• Combine them into 100 unique ads
• Then multiply performance by rotating dozens of hook styles in front
Where strong hooks actually come from (not guesswork):
• Customer testimonials (customer = hero)
• Viral posts (yours + competitors)
• Support calls & real objections
• Podcast or “fake podcast” Q&A formats
• YouTube thumbnail & title patterns
• Team answering FAQs on camera
• UGC POV clips with multiple avatars
Now layer in:
• Pre-hooks before the main hook
• Multiple editors with different styles
• Systematic recombination
One shoot → thousands of unique ads
Founder involvement → minimal
Cost → editors, not reshoots
Outcome → constant winners without burnout
At scale, the goal isn’t “make a great ad.”
The goal is to build a machine that keeps producing winners while you test aggressively.
This mindset is what allows consistent scaling without creative exhaustion—and it’s how serious advertisers stay profitable long-term on Meta.
