Hi, I am Vaishali, myself & my partner Nayan, we are paper cut artists based in India. We have been making paper cut artworks since one year now. We took up the 365 days challenge of creating Miniature birds using paper and watercolors for this entire year of 2018.

This time last year it was my new years resolution to do a sketch a day. It just so happened a good friend of mine bought me a sketch a day pad for my birthday in January, so I had no excuse! I managed to last until August, my work load was just too busy and I was very stressed so I put it on hold. This year I've now made the move to full time freelance with my work (something I've been planning to do a while - I finally made the jump!) I'm hoping I will get some more free time to continue with my hobbies, here's to a prosperous 2019, and here's some of my favourite sketches to show you from 2018!

I've been wanting to get my paints out for so long, it's been on my do to list for about 3 years but I'll always have some excuse, I'm too busy, can't be bothered to prepare, don't know what to draw, think it's going to look crap before I've started. I've had such a big barrier up and ive finally started to overcome it. All your have to tell yourself is it doesn't have to be perfect, you don't have to spend long, and the main thing is that you're doing it! I hope I can keep this up! 😊😊💜💚🎨
