Ok people. Let’s have a heart to heart. I know that pricing formula scares the s**t out of you. I see you see that price and get sticker shock, and I watch you as the first reaction is: “Well I’ll just cut out the profit margin.”
PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS! If you want to succeed you MUST have a profit margin.
Why? Because you’re running a business and you need to pay the bills.
Why? Because you’re whole business is not all production time.
Why? Because you deserve to make some mother effing MONEY.

JUST THE TIP TUESDAY 🍆
Stop seeking advice from friends who aren’t in your situation. Aka who aren’t business owners.
Too many times we rely on people who don’t understand how to run a business. We reach out to our best friends and bounce ideas off them even if they may not understand and aren’t our target market. They will be guessing just as much as you are, and may be giving you advice that is detrimental to your business and your business decisions.
Surround yourself with people that can help guide you in the right direction. Sure those friends are amazing and your friends for a reason, but they don’t always get the stuff you’re going through. Don’t get yourself in the situation of resenting your friend because they gave you uneducated business advice.

I don’t think I’ve ever done an intro on here, so here goes!
Hello! I’m Chantal and I’m the blogger behind **tbiztips - the Maker behind - El Presidenté of and one third of 💕 I started **tbiztips In March of last year because I wanted to help other entrepreneurs out with s**t I wish that I would have known. I started doing my lives on but I felt they were just too aggressive so NSBT was born 😅
Facts about me:
- I’m 27
- I live in Calgary, AB
- I work full time in advertising sales at a TV and Radio station
- I used to live for show choir (real life )
- I met my husband when I was 18
- I grew up wanting to either be a vet or a dancer
- I’m a D**K (double income no kids)
- Yellow is my favourite colour
- My dream vacation is to go to Costa Rica and volunteer to help save sloths and drive around to help them cross the road
- I surprisingly hate wearing bright coloured clothes. Dove grey and burgundy make up 90% of my wardrobe

NEW BLOG ALERT 🚨
“Stop Living By your Numbers + Stop Sharing Them”
You got me folks. I’m bad at this. I put way to much weight into the numbers. The likes, the followers, the views, the Etsy sales etc and it’s my goal to STOP doing this. Are you like me too? If so, I’ve written a blog/rant about why this has to stop, and three things I tell myself whenever that number comparison rears it’s ugly head.
While we’re at it can we just talk about the number bragging? It’s got to stop too. Let’s cut that s**t off. We don’t need to keep telling people our business intel just to get likes and to feel better about ourselves, cause in retrospect it only does harm to us and others 👌🏼
