Very proud moment to share. 🩷💙

"Don’t Be Rude", a short film written and directed by the amazing Jessica Hof, recently won Best Short Women’s Issue Film at the 2025 Toronto Independent Film Festival of Cift.

I was lucky to work on this project earlier this year as the graphic designer, animator, and poster designer, helping bring Jess’ vision to life across animation, print, and video. We had a great time brainstorming ideas for how the visuals would tie the themes and tensions of the story together.

The film follows a broke backpacker who ignores her gut instinct in the name of politeness, with unsettling consequences. It’s tense, smart, and uncomfortably relatable, as well as very telling in how different audiences have reacted to it with how it relates to their own experiences.

The film also screened as part of the official selections of the 2025 Toronto Independent Film Festival, Femme Filmmakers Festival and the London Lift-Off Film Festival.

I'm so proud of Jess and the team, and I'm honoured to have been part of a film that’s getting this kind of recognition.

My new portfolio website is finally live! 🥳

Every designer I've ever spoken to agrees that designing for yourself and your own portfolio is the absolute worst. I've wanted to have a proper website for years now, so I'm very happy that it's finally ready. A lot of projects are still to be added, but there's a strong selection of recent work created for employers, clients, friends and charities around the world.

New life goal achieved: my drawings are on hooded towels!!

Designed in a collaboration between myself, Laszlo from The Coolstore Gallery and Project Jonah New Zealand, and created by STOKEDNZ, these towelies (aka towel ponchos) are absorbent, lightweight and made of 100% Turkish cotton, perfect for a long day at the beach. I loved working on the illustrations of the different whales and oceanic elements, and if you ever wished for my handwriting to be on your portable towel, this is your chance.

As part of Project Jonah New Zealand’s 50th anniversary celebrations, I was invited to create a limited-edition fundraising set of stickers that would represent their brand's journey over the years.

I was asked to include the charity’s logo that I designed in 2020, my new 50th anniversary logo design, a recreation of their logo from years gone by, and a new, colourful design that would evoke the 70s. For the new illustration, I used a colour palette of bold stripes for the sky and sea with a retro font around the border.

As we celebrate 50 years of protecting New Zealand’s marine mammals, we’re excited to unveil our special anniversary logo! Created by medic and volunteer Bradley Pratt, Graphic Designer, this new design represents five decades of commitment to marine conservation and the countless lives we’ve saved together.

Our journey wouldn’t be possible without the support of our incredible volunteers, donors, and supporters. This logo symbolizes not just our past, but the future ahead as we continue to respond to strandings around the country, stand up for our oceans, and inspire future generations.

This is such a "pinch me" moment. 😻

I'm beyond excited to see my photography of Wellington Zoo Te Nukuao's beautiful snow leopards are now out in the wild as part of their new close encounter campaign. The image treatment is gorgeous, I love what they've done with it here.

As someone who's visited the zoo and taken pictures for fun for years now, this is absolutely a dream come true.

Thank you to the zoo team for making this happen, and I'm so excited to meet Asha and Manju in this new close encounter in a few weeks!
