DYFI Andhra Pradesh organized a protest in Vijayawada demanding urgent measures to address the growing unemployment crisis.

The protest demanded the immediate release of the Special Education DSC notification, an increase in the upper age limit to 47 years, and the implementation of a single question paper system for each district.

*The CPI(M) and the AIKS blocked the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway at Talasari in Palghar district in protest against the BJP state government over the inadequate farm loan waiver and the stay given to the Devasthan (Temple Trusts) Land Bill.*

With the main demands of cancelling all oppressive conditions attached to the farm loan waiver, ensuring the liberation from debt of toiling farmers, withdrawing the stay on the Devasthan Land Bill, and immediately vesting Devasthan and Inam lands in the names of the peasants cultivating them, the CPI(M) and the AIKS today, on 10 June 2026, blocked the Mumbai–Ahmedabad National Highway at Talasari in Palghar district for half an hour with the participation of more than 500 activists, including many women.

The agitation was led by Dr. Ashok Dhawale, Mariam Dhawale, Vinod Nikole, MLA, Kiran Gahala, Prachi Hatiwlekar, Lahani Dauda, Sunita Shingda, Radka Kalangda, Laxman Dombre, Chandu Dhangda, Bharat Valamba, Chandrakant Ghorkhana, and others.
