For the past three weeks, the TORi Branding team has been working with Africa Goodnest to launch a collection of artisanal products, from African-based entrepreneurs, in the US market. Africa Goodnest is an eCommerce platform that makes export-ready personal care, artisanal food and beverages, and herbs and spices from producers based in Africa available for purchase. I had a personal connection with this project because it celebrates the creativity of creators on the continent.

“For so long, we were seen as a continent that only exports raw commodities. We wanted to change that narrative, showing that we too have something beautiful to offer.” - Africa Goodnest.

It is always a pleasure to work with entrepreneurs that actively seek to bring Africa’s goodness to the global marketplace. If you are currently in the US, I encourage you to check out their website (https://www.africagoodnest.com/) to see available products. Perhaps you might find your favourite product on the continent.

These experiences and lessons have shaped my perspective on working with people and life in general. You should check it out and leave your leadership experience.

My three years of experience in these roles challenged my view on leadership and taught me lots of lessons about managing people’s lives.

Recently, I released a song that gave me a chance to get certain things about growth and change off my chest. I believe that some young people struggle to get society to accept who they've become with time. Click http://bit.do/ImGrown to listen and share your insights.

Broken Walls is a musical art that takes us on a journey to the world of withdrawn people in society and encourages us to actively reach out to them. Since release, it's been welcomed with so many praises. Click https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGd0rVp0x7g to view the full video now.
