The Apex from Kemper Snowboards is my favorite platform for attacking the mountain, solid or split. Volume shifted, flat camber with early rise, and extra contact points under the bindings - it's an all mountain beast that just rips.

A quick recap from a recent foray into the mountains to test gear, body, and spirit. Hand Out Gloves Luxe Mitts kept me warm and dry, and gave me access to my hands without removing the mitts fully.

Unfortunately my Hand Out Gloves samples were stolen from my storage before I was able to shoot a proper line showing video. Barring that, shooting some footage of the product excelling in extreme conditions in the field was my next best option. We braved the elements heading into the backcountry on Sunday morning for a 3 day touring trip where the temperatures were supposed to average day time highs of -20 to -24 Celsius, and down to around -29 the first night. For this trip I brought the Hand Out Gloves Luxe Mitts to provide the warmth I would need, but still give me easy access to my full hands for touring changeovers, taking photos, map checking, etc. Three long days in the harsh cold tested our bodies and gear, the Hand Out Gloves mitts were up to the challenge and kept my hands toasty and dry.

Dropping into the week like...

splitboards and solids are on their way to Canada for the new season, who's stoked to shred?

Quick clip from a fun afternoon on Cypress. Spring splits are fun, but you've got to tread lightly on those landings. The Apex split is a the perfect tool for mountain adventuring, and was nimble enough to correct for unseen rocks in the landing this spring day. Volume shifted and directional with a flat to early rise camber, the Apex split gets you to the goods and will smash that stash top to bottom.

A small spring drop into a rough than expected landing, but the Snowboards Apex splitboard handled it with ease.
