Howdy!

Here is an art study I did of Jon Whitcomb’s “A Kiss Goodbye”. This was a huge challenge for me since this was a new style from the way it was drawn to how it was colored. I was kind of pessimistic at first, but after finding out the flow of it and finding some really good working songs to get me feeling the vibe, I was able to pull it off!

I re-imagined it as a more modern piece influenced by Instagram's glam and the trend that I heard about. The very last image is the original, and the 3 before it are my recreations and re-imagination.

Hope you guys like it!

Howdy howdy!

Happy Easter everyone! 💐🌼🐣💕Long time no see! It’s been a busy filled couple of months so I apologize for the lack of posts!

Here is the Tree Lighting Ceremony collateral I did for the event! It was free for the public.

I wanted to do a retro inspired design that said friendly and communicated winter!

Hope you are all well!

Happy Halloween, everyone!

I am back with a new project! I was contacted to do the Scaregrove 2019 poster again this year!

This year's theme was creepy, crawly things in the night. This proved to be slightly difficult for me, but a solution was made nonetheless! I was tasked with creating a poster, postcard, banner, and social media image to post.

I worked with the very iconic colors, purple and orange. I had a blast researching and creating this!

For business inquiries, please contact me! I am available through direct messages or email.

🍂🕷🕸✨Howdy folks! ✨🕸🕷🍂

We are going to be taking it back to where I made posters, postcards and banners for the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department event: Scaregrove!

This was a blast to make since it involves one of my favorite holidays! I am fortunate enough to be working on this project again this year so keep your eyes peeled if you are driving down 19th street!

Howdy, everyone!

Back with a new project!

This one is for the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department program: Tennis & Learning Center. I was in charge with designing the new logo for the project.

The icon is designed to symbolize learning and resemble a tennis ball. It is to communicate hope, youth, happiness, athleticism, and fun all while tying it in with the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department’s color influence.

The logotype is aimed at attracting both grade and middle schoolers with its modern and playful typeface. The hand-lettered rendering of the typeface make it feel welcoming with a splash of edge.

Mock-up designs for collateral using the new logo design are provided.

For business inquiries, please feel free to message or email me!

New logo for the San Francisco Youth Flag Football League!

The emblem design is to encapsulate the new citywide initiative of the San Francisco Youth Flag Football League (SFYFFL). It is to communicate community, inclusiveness, and citywide all while tying it in with the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department's logo color influence.

The logotype is aimed at attracting youth with its modern typeface that make it feel athletic and active with the dynamics of the shapes. To tie it all in with flag football, the crossbar of the "A" has been altered to imitate the flags that are worn by the players.

Below are mock-up designs for collateral using the new logo design.

For inquiries about logos and/or branding, or other designs, send me a direct message or email me!

A new brochure project, but this time for the Humanities major at CCSF.

Objective: To attract new students into taking more classes in Humanities. They wanted it to show that you can get more out of the classes than just transfer units.

Messaging: Culture, Human, Connection, Community, Individuals, Inspired, Modern, Progressive

Concept: Two minds becoming one. Gaining a new level of understanding through the sharing of experiences and culture.

Hands in a show of unity. They form a pyramid which is the strongest shape, reinforcing that there is strength in our connections.

This was a two-color job so I used overprinting to have a bit more color dynamic. I stuck with CCSF colors to tie it to the school's brand all while being their own.

This brochure will go into production in the years to come.

‘s are done!

Follow her account if you aren’t already! She streams herself playing games flying solo or with a mate or two.

Also don’t pay too much mind to the third one. It’s a Twitch thing.

This here was a character design challenge. A character from Aesop's fables was selected then designed to appeal to young children and their parents. The final character selected was the Fox from the Fox and the Cat.

Time to add some illustrations to this page! Those of you who may follow me on my art only pages or accounts may already have seen these posted there, but this is for any new folks!

If you are in need of original character designs, icons, mascots, or more, send me a message or email!

I designed my characters based off of existing flora in deserts. These characteristics took form into: Aster, Creo, and Datura.
I chose Aster (Mojave Aster) for the main protagonist since its description was vague enough to allow me to have more freedom for her design, but still relate it to desert.

Creo (Creosote Bush) is tolerant, tough, and can be aggressive when fighting. He provides refuge for Aster during the disaster that falls upon her kingdom. Datura (Jimson W**d: Invitation to Disaster) is beautiful, but sinister. She can be dark and fearsome. She calls upon the night for her magic.

I worked with a cool color palette since I felt it would be a nice contrast on what would be a very warm, and yellow background.
