The secret to REAL CONFIDENCE on sales calls (It’s not jumping up and down before the call)

If you are someone who is serious about selling high ticket offers, then you have to be able to show up to sales consults with complete confidence.

That may seem obvious, but what’s less obvious is how to actually do that.

After doing more than 1500 sales consults over the last 15 years, I can tell you that the best thing you can do to improve your confidence and your close ratio is to have a CONSULTATIVE SALES PROCESS.

What does a consultative sales process do for you?
🙌 It provides a standard operating procedure. The more you follow it, the better you get.
🙌 It makes you look and feel professional
🙌 It gives you a blueprint for staying in control of the conversation (or for getting back on track when one goes astray)
🙌 It transforms you from just another salesperson to a caring client advocate
🙌 And of course, it greatly improves your sales numbers

But probably most importantly, it is part of the foundation for scaling a great offer. 🚀

So, if you are feeling afraid of sales, or like you hate selling, I invite you to lean into that. Is that really true or is it possible that you are just missing a process that makes sales easy and fun?

6 Questions To Ask Yourself Yourself In The Early Stages of Planning an Offer (so you know it will sell)....

⭐ Are you clear on the specific problem you are solving?
It is super important to have complete clarity on the problem you are solving. If you can't describe the outcome you provide in 1-2 short sentences then you need to work on this more.

⭐ Do you have a fall out of the mouth name and domain?
The name is one of the most important parts of the offer. It needs to be memorable, and your need a tagline that makes it clear what it does and who it’s for?

​​⭐ Is it tangible?
Digital products or services have a lower perceived value because it is not something you can touch or hold. Having mockup shots on your sales page makes it feel like a real life product which increases the value.

⭐ Is it aspirational?
Is your copy centered around something they aspire to have or do? People move away from pain and towards pleasure - so your copy needs to help them make that move.

​​⭐ Is it proprietary?
Do you have clarity on what makes your approach different from your competition? If not, take the time to figure it out.

⭐ Is it priced right?
Your price is determined by the value of the outcomes you provide + the audience you are offering it to. It also determines your selling process. Higher ticket items are hard to sell without some kind of consultation. Lower ticket offers need a lot of follow up to account for any leaky spots in your funnel.

In my opinion, asking yourself these 6 questions EVERY TIME you create an offer WILL help you cut through the noise and create an offer that is IRRESISTIBLE. And yes, there are other elements that come into play - but this is a good start.

🤷Something doesn’t feel aligned

Here’s my take on it..

When it comes to digital marketing for your coaching business, it is way too easy to get swept up in information overload and then wonder why all these strategies aren’t working for you.

After creating and selling high ticket offers for over 10 years now, I can tell you that offer positioning is one of the MOST important parts to getting people to take action.

Offer creation is both an art and a science and there are several aspects that combine to make an offer irresistible. If you have launched to crickets, then you’ve probably got several of these elements missing.

So before you do something drastic like switching your audience, changing your offer, or putting things on pause until you can figure out your purpose (been there, done that).....simply revisit your offer positioning.

✔️Is it a problem people want solved
✔️Is the offer name clear and marketable
✔️Can you describe what it does in 1-2 SHORT sentences
✔️Is it proprietary
✔️Is it packaged and priced correctly

If not, make these changes and see if things improve. Afterall, success really does boil down making incremental improvements over a long period of time.
