The Member of Parliament of Ablekuma South, Hon. Dr. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije in partnership with Dr. Mabel Kwaama Ankrah, C.E.O of Mothers-on-a-mission, an NGO based in the US who doubles as the daughter of Adontenhene of Otublohum, Nii Kpakpo Oti IV to donate to schools and communities within the Ablekuma South Constituency.
The items donated include school bags, shoes, dresses, stationeries and learning materials. The beneficiaries include Socco HH Primary and JHS, D.H.S Bannerman Primary and JHS and Mamprobi Neighborhood center school as well as the aged within the Mamprobi, Chorkor and Korle-Gonno communities.
The head teachers of the various schools expressed their profound gratitude for the gesture. Mr. Ebenezer Decker, the headmaster of Socco HH Primary and JHS in his remarks said, “It is really not a surprise to see Hon., Dr. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije here as we are used to seeing him here term by term to see to our needs”. The students sang melodious songs of praises on the good works of the Former Mayor of Accra.
