💥My Story as a Middle Aged Affiliate Marketer💥

Part 5: Finale

So as I moved into 2023 we a new found attitude around my Affiliate Marketing business…

😁I started to really get my focus and excitement back.

As I explained in Part 4, I finally realized and could focus on the activities that I enjoyed…

And cut out the stuff I didn’t.👍

I just needed to put together and plan and strategy that aligned with those things.

💎So that’s what my mentor and I did.

And I was pumped!

☀️For the first time, I really felt like I had a solid plan that had been proven to work for others…

So I got to work.

And then out of the blue, life got in the way.

👉My father-in-law had a stroke and would be in and out of the hospital for months.

Then the news got worse.

👉He had terminal cancer and his time was limited.

So just like that, my focus was all over the place.

👉Between traveling back and forth to NY…

👉To moving him from hospital to hospital, rehab to rehab and ultimately hospice…

I could not get my mind straight.

👉To make it worse, I came down with some health issues so things were just a mess.

So as you can guess, my dedication to the business wasn’t there.😭

And again things fizzled.

But as I regained my health and was finally able to get my father in laws affairs in order…

Things began to look up.🎉

My father in law finally passed in November and to be honest, it was a blessing in disguise.

🧠All the mental and emotional baggage was now behind me.

So in October, I came across a 2 Comma Club winner who really focused on keeping things simple…

✅And teaching how traditional Affiliate Marketing was no longer viable…

✅And sharing new, fun, and exciting strategies and tactics that not only get results…

✅But make is simple for anyone, no matter what the experience level was.

✅And now I’m loving it again.

I can actually see the results of my effort and my business building day by day.

And if I haven’t said it enough, it’s all based on keeping it simple.🔥

So that’s my story, pretty crazy huh?🤔

♦️So if you’re someone who’s been around and has struggled to break through…

Part 4:

So on Tuesday, I left you with the fact that I had an epiphany.

Let’s continue with the story.

♦️Here I am, it’s November 2022 and I’m at rock bottom.

Basically doing nothing with my business.

I’ve since been in 4 programs and 1 challenge between Feb and November….

Spending approximately $26K along the way.😳

All I had to show for it was $10K in earnings and mastery of a few skills…

😭But the enjoyment was gone.

I was burned out.

The pace I was going at just couldn’t be sustained.

👉Adding 40-50 friend a day.

👉Starting just as many cold DM’s.

👉Writing/Posting Content and Stories

👉Priming my feed

👉Booking calls

👉Trying to do Lives in my Group.

👉Creating Offers.

It was just too much.

So I spent the days just scrolling FB and watching what others were doing.

But really had no intentions of getting back in.🙀

🎯Then out of the blue, I received a DM from a name I knew from the industry.

Something about his style kept me engaged.

✅We talked about what I did, what I was doing and more importantly…

✅What parts of the business I enjoyed and the ones I didn’t.

When I laid it out for him, he said no wonder you’re so burnt out…

You’re spending a majority of your time focused on the things you enjoy least.👀

😳When he asked me why I was doing that, my answer was “that’s what I was taught.

Certain things had to be done and I needed to just grind through it no matter what.”

He went on to tell me that was the worst advice someone could get.🤯

We chatted for a few days and I learned that we could tailor my business around the things I enjoyed doing.💯

I could focus my energy there.

💎I was sold and paid him $12K to be mentor.

This was a game changer for me.

💥Knowing that I could be successful just by focusing a majority of my time and energy on the things I enjoyed…

And cutting out or minimizing the things I didn’t…

🌟Was the epiphany that changed it all for me.

Until like previous instances, it wasn’t.
