Even as a seasoned graphic designer (yes, I still use the full Adobe Suite), Canva has earned its place. It’s fast, it’s flexible, and it fits into so many parts of my creative workflow. Simple as that.

I don’t know what kind of magic lives in coffee shops, but the second I sit down with a latte and a little background noise, the ideas start brewing.....pun fully intended. 🤪

Some of my clearest thinking happens away from my desk. No piles of paper staring at me, no laundry in the corner, no notifications pulling me in twelve directions. Just caffeine, a cozy corner, and enough quiet to hear myself think.

There’s something about being in a space that isn’t home or work that makes planning feel less like pressure and more like possibility. A change of scenery can do more for creativity than a to-do list ever could.

Here’s to coffee, clarity, and the kind of momentum you can’t force, only sip your way into.

Halloween has always been my favorite time of year....but not for the spooky, creepy vibes (I’m a total scaredy-cat if you know me). I love it because it gives me an excuse to get extra creative. Making costumes from scratch is my jam, and I’ve gone all in over the years.

About three years ago, I hit a wall. I was going full speed at 100 miles an hour… and life just forced me to slow down. It was hard at the time, but looking back, it was exactly what I needed: a breather, a moment to reset, and a reminder that I can’t pour from an empty cup.

I’ve been dreaming about working 4 days a week for the longest time… and next week, it’s finally happening. Whether you believe in manifestation or not, I feel like this is proof that setting intentions and being patient really works. (and a huge thank you to my boss for making this possible and letting me carve out time for the things I love. ) 🫶🏼

This extra time will give me space to breathe, focus on my creative projects, and enjoy the little moments I’ve been missing while racing through life. ✨

I’ve been a little quiet here lately… trying to manage it all felt overwhelming at times, so I decided to prioritize myself for a bit. Over the weekend, I hit a milestone I’m proud of: 60 days of walking 8k steps a day, hitting my daily protein, weight training 3–4x a week… and officially 8 lbs down. 💪

It’s been a lot of sweat, “me time,” and reflection. Perimenopause is creeping up (if it hasn’t already), and I really need to focus on getting stronger. My dad passed away from an unexpected heart issue, which makes prioritizing health even more important. ❤️

I’ve been walking while thinking of—and talking to—my dad (in the sky) and listening to Crescent City. I’m on book 2 now, and these walks have become my little “walking hack” to keep reading while moving.

Slowly, I’m finding my groove again and getting back into the rhythm of everything I love. And here is a photo dump of my walks ✨
