"𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐀 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐆𝐨𝐭 𝐌𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐎𝐧 𝐀 𝐅𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐧 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲"
Let me tell you about this one time in high school when I was in Germany for a soccer trip.
We were roughing it, sleeping in the gym on sleeping bags - kind of like camping, but with less nature and more snoring.
So one night, my stomach was growling loud and the team and wanted some food, especially after 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟏𝟔 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 from Lakenheath, England to Germany.
My teammates and I decided to sneak out for a midnight snack. But there was this huge soccer field 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝.
Then we saw it – a fence. And we're thinking, “Hey, we're athletes, we got this!”
Everyone was jumping over that fence like they were in the Olympics, but when it was my turn, let me tell you, it was like the fence and I got into a wrestling match.
And the fence won! 𝐈 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐜𝐤 right at the top, hanging there like a Christmas ornament! My teammates?
Oh, they turned into comedians, laughing their heads off. I’m hanging there thinking,
“This is not how I pictured our late night snack adventure!”
