In the earlier years of running my design business, I very much felt like I had to do everything myself. At some point along the way, I had decided that if I didn’t do every single piece of a project all on my own, I was somehow a fake. I have no idea where I even got this belief from in the first place, but am I ever glad I overcame it!

Collaborating with other incredibly talented women to be able to best serve my clients is the ✨ absolute best ✨ and I’m so, so grateful to have people in my corner to help bring my visions to life in places I don’t necessarily excel at.

I truly believe my clients deserve the best of the best, and if I can’t do that on my own, I’ll bring in someone else that can! Whether that’s for custom illustration, copywriting or SEO, you’re in good hands. ❤️

A little peek behind the scenes of what I’m working on this week… a brand refresh for !

Virath + Krizelle recently pivoted their photography business from a focus on family and children to luxury weddings, which naturally came with a complete change in clientele.

Over these past couple of months, I’ve been working on a refresh of the branding and website I created for them previously in order to better appeal to their dream clients. I can’t wait to share how this all comes together! 🙌

IS YOUR SITE STRATEGICALLY DESIGNED OR DOES IT JUST LOOK NICE? 🧐

Don’t get me wrong, a good looking site is important- but If you want to convert people who are just browsing your site into actual paying clients or customers, then you NEED to set some clear goals and create a path to guide them down.

Here are 3 ways to optimize your site for conversions:

→ GOAL: book a discovery call
Pop a “book a call” button into your menu! Even better if you give it a different color background to make it stand out from the rest of the links in your menu. This is prime real estate that visitors will see again and again on your site, so whatever you put here, make sure it’s important.

→ GOAL: subscribe to the email list
Show me someone who doesn’t like free sh*t. 😂 Honestly, swapping the boring ol’ “sign up for my newsletter!” opt-in for something way more enticing (such as a short workbook, checklist, guide, etc that’s relevant to your industry) will help grow your list way faster. This also serves as a great opportunity to share your expertise + win the trust of your subscribers, so make your freebie valuable (without giving away all your secrets)!

→ GOAL: make a purchase
One of the best ways to sell people on something is to let past customers do the selling for you. Whether you’re selling a product or a service, testimonials/reviews are almost *always* the tipping point in which I do or don’t make a purchase. Reviews or testimonials from past customers/clients help to sway buyers' decisions and create that “I need this now” urgency. Include testimonials/reviews on both your sales pages AND product pages (as well as throughout the rest of your site if you're a service provider)!
