They’re past their best in real life, but still pretty on paper. I’m just waiting for the lavender now and check on it daily to see when I can expect it’s beautiful scent drifting into the house from the garden. Still, whilst we wait for that - these are online now along with a whole other bunch of lovely paper goods by yours truly.

We loved our old shop. You did too right? Well, guess who’s back? Our previous shop neighbour took it on as an art studio and has decided to run weekend pop up shops. When the invite to be the first there popped into our inbox how could we refuse? (our kids have other plans on Saturday ironically after we quit it to spend more time with them). So, this Saturday - 12th May we will be at our old store, 10 Peel Street from 10 til 3. We’d love to see you there and we’re launching lots of new goods too! Pop by and say hi, we miss you all.

It's Marsden Cuckoo Day tomorrow, celebrating the return of spring. We will be running a stall upstairs in Marsden Mechanics all day. Come and get your cuckoo (and owl and duck) calls for the parade. We'll also have a selection of plants, picnic blankets and our usual lovely curated goods. Come and say hello, we miss chatting with you.

So, it's our last shop day today before we close our doors for the final time. 💔 a little bit. We will miss the children that buy cacti for party bags, the people who bring us plants they had too many of and think we'll love, the folk who share their stories with us, the man who dragged his wife in because he just loved the way our shop smells and wanted her to smell it, the people who have left and I have heard them say it is their favourite shop in the world, the guy who came in every week for months when we first opened for a new cactus, those people who have been afraid they might kill plants but have taken a chance to them come back for new plants time after time because they are hooked, those who appreciate our makers and their incredible talents. I'm gushing, I know. I can't help it. You've all given us so much and we're so incredibly proud the planet has people like you, you give us hope. It's not over, we're far from done. We're just getting started. I don't have a goldfish to grab, Jerry Maguire style, to say... Who is coming with us?

Hands up those ready for some green to contrast all that ❄️ white stuff we've been seeing 👋🏻 With our physical shop closing in just two weeks time (!) we are having a big BIG plant clearance - between 10% and 25% off (plants only, to be clear). If you can make it to the shop tomorrow we'll be sure to pop an extra or two in with your purchase to thank you for helping us get organised (and not turn our home into even more of a jungle!).
