***News Alert: I am pleased to announce that with the new year we are branching out to new services. 2018 is the year Dawson Web Design is not just a web design company but also a Web Hosting company. We have been working for a number of months behind the scenes getting these services ready. We have brought on two new employees to our staff. We are so close to going live. We are literally days away. We will still be offering are Web Design services as normal. However, instead of you needing to find your own web host you can use ours. We have great deals and many features. Expect more info to follow in the near days. For any previous customer of ours feel free to message us. I had a customer contact me a few days ago stating his site was no longer working. He stated he was in the process of updating his plugins when the screen went white. Upon further investigation I found the latest update to Wordpress failed. I was able to push the update. Once the update was pushed, we was still having the white screen issue. I tried another theme and the web page would show fine. Looks like the them I originally setup on his website was not working correctly with the new update of Wordpress. I installed a new theme and redesigned the website. Please keep in mind that themes sometimes stop working with new releases of Wordpress. The only solution is to wait for the theme to be updated by the creator. I also, strongly encourage all customers to setup a backup system to both their hosting and a cloud solution. Sometimes update destroy everything and the best solution is to backup. If you have a website and would like automatic updates for Wordpress setup feel free to contact me. Thanks. Glad to say we got everything back online.

"Hello Wordpress Customers,

Today most of everyone's WordPress should of auto updated to 4.7.3. I have taken a look at the update and examined it for problems. At this time I see no issues. If you run into any issues with your plugins or functions of the website please let me know. I would ask you to please use the new support system on the website if a problem should occur. "

This Morning the following email went out to all customers.

"Hello,

Here at Dawson Web Design I strive to make relations with our customers to last a lifetime. I don't simply make your website and disappear. Unlike most companies I provide continued support. Most of my customers always feel free to message me on social media or send me an email. I am always open anytime you may need help or want to make changes to your site. I understand that you may not know how to. I will provide basic support with no fee. However, any major changes fees will be discussed. That being said I have had thoughts of a more formal system to make these request. In the next day or so all my customers will get an email to create an account on my website. This account will allow you to make a support ticket. In this support ticket you can make request for changes or ask for help. I will always reply to your support ticket within 24 hours. This will make it easier to manage my request and have a more professional system in place for future customers. I would love to hear anyone's feedback to this system. We will be operating in beta for a month or two but the system will work as intended. This being said please don't be afraid to reach out to me via Facebook or email. If I feel that I need you to make a support ticket I will direct you there. Thanks for all the support. If you have any questions please reply to this email."
