WEBINAR Solar Made Easy Thursday 18 November at 19:00

Ambleside Action for a Future "During 2021 we’ve been working closely with Cumbria Action for Sustainability (CAfS) to develop a project to help households and small businesses take the leap and install solar photovoltaic panels on their rooftops.

We know that a major barrier to investing in solar is the uncertainty of where to start and who to trust. So, we’re trying to make it easier for you. With the help of Carbon Coop, we have been short-listing local solar panel installers so that we can find a preferred partner who we would be happy to introduce you to.

​We are holding a webinar on Thursday 18 November at 19:00 to explain the project and how you can take advantage of it, as well as providing information about solar PV and answering any questions you may have. "

Residents of Glenridding, Hartsop, Patterdale & Ullswater Valley - John Muir Trust would like to hear your opinions about Glenridding Common.

The Trust took on management of Glenridding Common in 2017 via a lease agreement with the Lake District National Park Authority, following a positive consultation with local and national stakeholders.

This questionnaire gives you the opportunity to provide feedback about the current management of the common and guide future plans including; maintenance, addition of woodlands, upland sheep farming, the protection of rare species and more.
