I've followed Jared Polin for years. He does an excellent job assessing the photography around the attempt on President Trump's life on Saturday. Not political at all, he takes a very good look at how the images we've already come to see as iconic came to be. He blends a professional critique, assessment, and level of engagement that makes it compelling all the way through.

While Jared's well-known in photography circles, if there's a silver lining to Saturday, it's that I hope this event can raise his stature.

Today, as we see the American flag waving proudly in the breeze, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. As a veteran, I hold a special place in my heart for my brothers and sisters in arms. Your courage and dedication have shaped our nation and secured the liberties we cherish. We are forever grateful for your service and sacrifice. Let us keep their families in our thoughts and prayers today and always. 🇺🇸

Out for a short walk this morning. My area seems to have an unusually high number of robins this year. Handheld, long lens, liked how this guy/gal was happy to pose.

This seems to represent 1/4 of my business. Owners of this beautifully remodeled home were dissatisfied with the original pics taken. Often real estate agent with smart phone. They wanted a 'professional' photographer to do the shoot.

Been quiet of late. Real estate supply is tight, and what there is sells so fast, fewer residential photos are needed. Where I am seeing continued demand for professional -residential- photos, is in the $600K+ market, where sales take longer.

Barton Park in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA). Not many folks out and about as the Sun rose. Clear skies let the Sun's warmth be seen. Need to go back in another month or so, once all the foliage is out.
