I was browsing social media and noticed a lot of people using Linktree which brought up the question how much are they paying to have a webpage with buttons to other sites?

TOO DAMNED MUCH in my opinion.

To have both Take A Shot Online and Muy Spanglish online it comes out to about $84 dollars for the year with my own branding for each one.

It's really an investment in your small business and brand to have your own website, I can even show you how to make a webpage with buttons that link to other sites if that's all you really need.

You'll be saving yourself some cash and you'll have your own domain.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS BASIC TACTIC.

I was recently DMed by a profile from a real person I know but haven't had much contact since leaving Orlando.

It was when they asked for a screenshot did I realize something was up because I was contacted mid-day while I was busy with work.

Don't ever give away the link or the verification codes your phone receives to anyone. That's giving away your personal key to access your or other accounts.

I'll admit I almost did it but I paused and took a breathe because i was rushing and that's how they get you.

Keep an eye out for this tactic because the are hungry and ready to cause trouble.

To the Herrera family my sincerest condolences and prayers on the passing of Rolando Sr.

The weekly food booths at The Historic Market Square is a tight knit "family" that I've had the privilege of working with the last 5 years.

Rolando's wife Lety runs "Doña Lety's Gorditas, Mini Tacos, and Aquas Frescas" but it's their son's "Corn Hub" stand that gets a lot of attention when on the Plaza.

Rolando's passing will be felt as Fiesta kicks off; the Herrera Family were one of the original families who ran the food booths/puestas for downtown San Antonio and South Texas festivals/carnivals.

Again my sincerest condolences and prayers for the immediate family and for the "extended festival family."

Rest In Peace Rolando Herrera Sr.
