- Staff recruitment. The company EIG Engineering is interested in placing investments in advanced alternative energy projects and developing green technology sector. In 2013 the company has received the 'Green Award Ukraine 2012' award. According to the professional jury of the 2nd National Competition 'Green Award Ukraine 2012', the 'Thermal power plant construction with 18MWs power and with the use of biofuels in the urban village of Ivankov in Kiev Region' project, which is implemented by EIG Engineering, was considered the best ‘green’ investment project of the year 2012. The evaluation criteria in this category is the safety of the facility for the environment, economic performance of its implementation, innovation for Ukraine and professionalism of implementation. Green Awards Ukraine - is a recognition of the professionalism of organizations and companies in projects on sustainable development of ecologically clean technologies and environmental protection. For the participation in the competition about 90 projects were selected. Projects were evaluated by 40 professionals of the international and national levels in the spheres of ecology, economy and development. EIG ENGINEERING is currently implementing the project of Eco Biomass Power Plant construction with the power of 18 MW in the urban village of Ivankiv, Kiev region. The main purpose of the project is the construction of the Biomass Power Plant with the power of 18 MW, installation of the technological equipment, raw materials supply (wood waste), organization of production and selling of the generated energy by the 'green' tariff. The project will be implemented in two stages: the first stage of 6 MW, the second one is 12 MW. As of today, the project is fully provided with raw materials, reserves of raw materials and the cost of forestry waste are estimated. The analysis of other possible kinds of biomass is carried out: straw crops and so on. For harvesting, storaging, and preparation of wood chips foresty equipment will be purchased, which will include: a system for grinding biomass, baler, grubber. The project has a socio-economic importance. The implementation of this project will give the ability to create new working places, reduce transportation costs of the electricity into this region. During the designing stage a DC motor of the urban village of Ivankov was developed and approved. The project corresponds to energy saving regulations, the positive conclusion of the Energy Saving State Inspection was obtained about the compliance of the power plant with the regulations and questions of energy saving №1/В/15-1/139.
