Oh my...yes! It’s my all time favorite card game and the new design works! If you’ve ever played any game with me, you know I’m always commenting on the design. So many games have design elements and decisions that make the cards or board or game or all of it just hard to read, understand, or process while playing. Check out this new, simplified deck of cards with solid colors and simple icons. It’s not surprising that it was a designer’s concept and Mattel then decided to produce it. What do you think?

Occasionally, sharing a piece of work you’re proud of on the internet can lead to good things (not just other people stealing your creation) as Brazilian graphic designer Warleson Oliveira discovered when Mattel reached out to turn his gorgeous, minimalist UNO deck design into an actual product.

Stunning Photos! Want them? Check out this helpful video about taking great iPhone photos and thank me later. But first, here are some quick tips for your camera settings. Go to Settings, scroll down and tap ‘Camera’.

1. Turn on your grid, which is deselected by default.
2. Select ‘Formats’ and choose ‘Most Compatible’ which will reduce your file size.
3. Switch on Smart HDR—or Auto HDR, depending on your iPhone model
