A new study by Anna Baranowska-Rataj (Umeå University) found that families with only one income tend to feel more depressed than those with two incomes. The - published in Acta Sociologica (SAGE Publishing) - was based on data from rounds 3, 6 and 7 of ESS's . Specifically, the on income, family circumstances and the Centre for Epidemiologic Studies Depression scale (CES-D).
