Hi Folks,

Hope the week has been productive.

Sequel to my post on the impacts of Covid 19 on our economy, many people (and data insights) agreed that they have been affected by the following:
1. Job losses
2. Slashed salaries or compulsory leaves without pay
3. Drop in oil prices- Nigeria's main income generator
4. Increase in consumption or no consumption at all😔
5. Increase in crime rate etc
The above are not so new to us but it is much more pronounced during this pandemic in the world. Even if you have not been affected( thankfully) you at least know someone who has been affected.Our government on the other hand, is overwhelmed and therefore can only do very little for us. How then can you do for yourself or loved one to come out of this? I will be answering that later.
Fortunately, in the midst of this pandemic, some aspects of the economy have been booming- health, agro and food and tech, this goes to show that there is "an opportunity in crisis" -only if you open your mind to it.That being said, one of these tech enabled businesses discovered that is 100% mobile(where your phone is your office and data is your rent) is Crowd1 ICT(and many others which will be known as we progress). This is only beneficial if you are looking for an extra or main income on the side. I will be educating you on what it is and how you can tap into it in my next post. The emergence of the pandemic-Covid 19 has had impacts on the world and national economies,businesses and individuals in the past few months. It is estimated to have more impacts in the coming months. At the beginning it literally seemed like the world had come to an abrupt end but luckily nations are finding ways to mitigate or leave with it.

Africa however has had a lesser impact on death tolls than the Europes but are unfortunately facing hunger- pandemic stemming from increased poverty rate.It is a well known fact that most Nigerians survive on less than a $1 a day; how much more now that there are severe impacts on jobs as businesses try to ensure business continuity.

Unfortunately, our government seems to be fighting so little to keep us all afloat or do not even care. It is now every man for himself. Therefore, it is in YOUR hands to either be beaten by the impacts of the pandemic or rise up and find a way out. If you are not affected at all by this pandemic, I say you are one of the lucky few.

Meanwhile, before I introduce you to one of the ways to rise up from the comfort of your home in my subsequent posts, I will like to hear your thoughts/concerns and comments on how this pandemic has affected you either positively or negatively in the comment section.Until then, see you!
