A second-hand pure wool thick room rug, 250cm diameter (large!). This size retails for $2,179 new. I found this beauty on Marketplace for $50 from a commercial property upgrading their office entry. 🤩

A few weeks ago a friend brought me 2 of her antique heirloom chairs, one of which was broken into multiple pieces! She’s visiting today to collect these two (now restored) and deliver the next two for some Queen B magic.

Giving up on home schooling the curriculum during COVID-19. Instead, I home schooled him on “how to make your own furniture polish and renovate an old desk”. A lesson in elbow grease and the joy of handling a good slab of old Silky Oak. 🎩🇬🇧❤️
