After much reflection on how to increase my impact as a designer in a time of climate crisis, I decided to pursue my MA in Environmental Studies in 2021.

Now post studies, I'm reemerging with refined intentions as a designer and with a more robust skillset to support the talented entrepreneurs + change-makers I'm lucky to work with.

I'm happy to share the completion of a project that acted as a perfect bridge between my studies and design practice.

It's been a long time since communicating here--almost a year exactly.

And what a year it's been.

The darkness we've felt in 2020 moved beyond the familiar seasonal shifts and daily cycles--we've experienced an unexpected storm cloud that has blanketed the collective in all of its electric chaos. Rather than the gentle nudge of our earthly conditions and patterns that encourage us to reflect, this upheaval of normalcy has demanded of us to go inward.

Physically into our homes, emotionally into our traumas, spiritually into our relationship with life; inward in all dimensions of our reality to feel what it is that we can heal.

And though this darkness has dragged us kicking and screaming into its unknown depths, opportunity seems to shine as a distant torch when we slow down and become still enough to see it. There is creativity to be cultivated in the limitlessness that resides in the darkness, the infinite--the place without points, the womb-space of unadulterated potential.

In the upcoming months my business pages will come into a tangible reflection of the evolution that has transpired over this past year. I'm looking forward to sharing more of the journey that is conveying my intention and offerings with a renewed sense of accuracy.

At the end of the day, we live by design. I hold my own design practice accountable as both a steadfast example and source of assistance for us all to co-create a more beautiful world together.
