I am a firm believer in supporting small businesses and have been long before I started Behind Her Veil! I grew up watching my mom build her business from scratch and it is still thriving 35 years later. She started as her only employee and now runs a business with over 50 employees. I have plenty of friends and family who rely on their businesses to feed their families, pay their bills, and put gas in their car. It is so much more fulfilling to pay $10 for a coffee at my local hole in the wall coffee shop, knowing the impact that is has on that family, than to pay $10 at Starbucks. I see the impact and the need to support each other. When Kroger shuts down, your local farmer will still be in business.
