Ms Chevaure Du Pokoy - Director of Public Law ⚖️

The Faculty of Law proudly congratulates Ms Chevaure Du Pokoy on her appointment as Director of the School of Public Law.

This appointment marks an important milestone in the Faculty's growth and transformation. For the first time, the Faculty has dedicated Schools of Public Law, Private Law, Mercantile Law, and Applied Law, following many years in which these academic areas formed part of the Undergraduate Studies umbrella.

We are confident that Ms Du Pokoy's leadership, expertise, and commitment to academic excellence will contribute significantly to the continued success and development of Public Law at the Faculty.

Congratulations on this well-deserved appointment. We wish you every success in this exciting new chapter.

The Oranje-Oewer Intermediate School family extends our deepest condolences to the learners, staff, parents, and entire Laerskool Kathu community during this difficult time.

Although we met as opponents on the cricket field, today we stand together as one school community. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of a valued educator and support those affected by this tragic accident.

There was a serious accident involving one of our large buses earlier this morning on our way to Kuruman. Our learners were unharmed.

Please keep our teachers, children and parents in your prayers.
