They ask questions like:

How do you know when to persevere vs. pivot?
If our kids can wrestle with grit at this level, what excuse do we have as leaders, entrepreneurs, and creators?

Pause with me for a moment, fellow Christian business owners...

Am I truly seeking God's will for my business decisions, or am I primarily leaning on my own understanding and plans?

Proverbs 3:5-6 hits hard:
'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.'

In the rush of strategy sessions, growth plans, client pitches, and late-night pivots, it's so easy to default to my logic, my spreadsheets, my timeline. But what if the most powerful move isn't more hustle—it's more surrender?
I've been convicted lately: true stewardship means inviting God into every boardroom (even if it's just our dining room table), every yes/no decision, every risk. When I do, the pressure lifts. Paths straighten—not always the way I expected, but always the way He designed.

Today, I'm choosing to ask Him first. Not as a last resort, but as the starting point.
